Director Michael S. Dollahmoersid, a.k.a ‘Mike Static’ (1982) is a newcomer in the bizz of music videos and commercials. His fascination for glitz and glamour started at the age of 9 when, inspired by MTV, he decided to become a director. A few years later influenced by his no. 1 passion break-dance, he started to film his daily life. Experimenting with sound & vision brings on a new adventure: directing a music video. “Het hete Zuiden”- HB Crew (2003) is his first video to appear nationwide on The Box. Recently he shot “1 ding” (a huge hit on YouTube) and TMF’s Superclip “Flipmuziek” both by Fouradi (2007). Future wise, Michael is looking forward to working with professionals, creating fresh and dope music videos, and producing inspiring commercials.
